Wipöp was a redesign project focused on evolving the Openpay digital platform into a more modern, scalable and independent fintech experience — while preserving the trust and credibility of BBVA at every touchpoint.
The main challenge was positioning Wipöp / Openpay as an independent digital product while maintaining the reliability expected from a major banking institution. Users needed to feel secure while experiencing a modern, agile product — without the heaviness of traditional banking.
